Film and TV star Warwick Davis is coming to Morecambe to film a new television show.

The Life’s Too Short actor, who stands 3ft6in tall, will shoot scenes for a new ITV programme at the town’s stunt school.

Davis, who also appeared in the Star Wars and Harry Potter films, will visit Regent Park Studios on Thursday, August 22.

TV and movie stuntman Martin Shenton, owner of the unique Regent Road complex, is putting together a ‘James Bond-style’ stunt sequence for the cameras.

Morecambe pro wrestler Jamie Hutchinson, aka ‘The Psychotic Warrior’ Johnny Phere, will play Warwick’s evil nemesis.

“Warwick is coming with his family to film a TV show about things to do in the North West,” said Martin.

“Jamie will be the bad guy who beats Warwick up and throws him against a wall!”

Shenton is currently touring the UK as a ‘ninja trainer’ for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles family entertainment show ‘Shellraiser’.
