Pink Floyd fans can take a walk on the Darkside later this month.
Tribute band Darkside will make their debut at the Platform, Morecambe on Saturday, October 27 with a show dedicated to the hugely successful Floyd album Dark Side of the Moon.
Dark Side of the Moon went on to be Pink Floyd’s first number one hit in the USA charts and remained in the UK top 40 charts for 560 weeks.
The whole second-half of the concert at the Platform will showcase the critically acclaimed 1973 album in the style of the 1975 American tour version of Dark Side of The Moon.
Singer songwriter Emma Skipp will join Darkside to provide the idiosyncratic melancholy vocals on such songs as Great Gig in the Sky and Money.
The show starts at 8pm. Tickets cost £15 and are available by calling 01524 582803 or in person from Visitor Information Centres at Lancaster and Morecambe.
