Her Majesty the Queen and the Princess Royal visited Kendal in a tour of the south Lakes region.
Throngs of people lined the streets waving flags and cheering, waiting to catch a glimpse of the Queen who went walkabout in the town.
She was presented with numerous bunches of flowers, hampers and Kendal mint cake.
She even managed her infamous wave to the crowd who were cheering and clapping.
The Royal party then moved onto the James Cropper papermaking mill and Bowness-on-Windermere.
