VIDEO: Morecambe high school hosts election-style debate

Pupils at Morecambe Community High School took part in a '˜Big Debate' with local politicians.

Five councillors from Morecambe visited the school to answer questions from sixth formers on Friday.

Labour councillors Darren Clifford, Coun Margaret Pattison and Coun Josh Brandwood, and Conservatives Coun Charlie Edwards and Coun Tony Jones attended the event.

The debate was organised and chaired by sixth form pupil Owen Lambert, 17, who is also a columnist for The Visitor.
