Little Henry Gallagher was a little star at Morecambe Carnival.
But the 12-year-old Britain’s Got Talent sensation admits he still hasn’t managed to ask out the girl of his dreams.
Henry, from Wigan, shot to fame on the ITV talent show when he performed ‘Lightning’ a song he’d written for a young lady he fancies.
But the cheeky lad told The Visitor the object of his crush still doesn’t know the tune was penned for her.
“It’s really hard to ask a girl out!” he smiled.
But Henry has no shortage of admirers, judging by the response of schoolgirls in the front row at the Bay Arena.
Many were overheard to say ‘Awww, isn’t he cute?’ as he performed ‘Cecilia’ and ‘Lightning’, showing charisma and stage presence beyond his years.
As he came off stage, the smiling youngster said it was the biggest crowd he’d ever played to.
“Yeah, that was amazing,” he said.
“I don’t know if I’m in the semi-finals (of Britain’s Got Talent) yet but if I am, I’d really love it if you all voted for me.
“I’d absolutely love it if I got to the final, maybe even, I daresay, win it.”
