Union leader speaks out on cuts

A CONTROVERSIAL union leader is to speak as a guest of campaign group Lancaster and Morecambe Against the Cuts.

Bob Crow, General Secretary of the RMT, will give his talk at a meeting today, February 23, at 7.30pm at Lancaster Town Hall.

He will talk about the Government’s spending cuts and will look at how the cuts will affect people in the local area as well as nationally.

His talk, “Building the Alternatives” will explore other strategies for managing the national deficit.
