Lancaster becomes first English opening for Northern Ireland cafe chain

The first Bob & Berts store opened in Portstewart, Northern Ireland, in 2013.

The company now has 18 outlets across Northern Ireland and Scotland.

The company said on its social media page for the Lancaster cafe: "The secret’s out - Bob & Berts is c’Monsoon! Incredible breakfasts, astounding coffee, phenomenal bakes, and so much more. Lancaster, you aren’t ready for this..."

It offers "proper coffee and great grub" including burgers, iced coffees, cakes, smoothies, loaded fries, breakfasts, traybakes, shakes, hot dogs, lattes, fried chicken, flat whites, French toast, chai, waffles and cheesecakes.

It is now hiring staff including Front Of House (Barista/Counter/Deli), Kitchen (Chef/Cook), Kitchen Porter and Management/Supervision.
