New figures from NHS England now reveal how many people have been vaccinated in neighbourhoods across the country.

In the Lancaster district, Heysham and Overton has seen the highest number of vaccinations.

4,627 people received at least one dose of a Covid-19 vaccine between December 8 2020 and February 21 2021, representing 42 per cent of over 16s living in that area.

Lancaster Central has so far had the lowest number of vaccinations, with 1,539 shots given, representing 19 per cent of over 16s in the area.

In terms of percentage of population, Bare has the highest, with 55 per cent (2,514) of people aged 16 and over having had the vaccination.
