Morecambe TV personality Paul Hayes will put his money where his mouth is this week on BBC1.
The dashing antiques dealer will square off with rival Jonty Hearnden on daytime show ‘Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is’ on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 4.30pm.
On this afternoon’s programme Hayes and Hearnden will face off at the Lincolnshire Antiques and Home Show with £750 of their own money to spend, aiming to buy for as little as possible and sell for as much they can, with all the proceeds going to charity.
On tomorrow afternoon’s episode, Mark Smith from Morecambe potted shrimps firm James Baxter and Son will appear alongside Paul.
Hayes buys a bronze shrimp ornament and tries to sell it to Baxters at their shop on Thornton Road.
It’s been a big week for Baxters, who on Monday night were awarded a Food Hero award at the Lancashire Life Food and Drink Awards at the Hilton Hotel, Manchester.
