Three men charged following Kendal Calling death

Three men have been charged with drugs offences that connect to a death at the 2015 Kendal Calling festival.

Michael Mountfort, 42, of Oak Drive, Denton, Manchester, was charged with conspiracy to supply a Class A controlled drug.

Luke Nathan Fraser, 21, Oakfield Grove, Manchester, was charged with conspiracy to supply a Class A controlled drug and supplying a Class B controlled drug.

Simon Chapman, 21, of Race Grove, Millom, was charged with conspiracy to supply a Class A controlled drug.

The three men were arrested as part of an investigation into the death of Christian Pay, 18, from Millom, who died on July 31 2015.

All three men are expected to appear before North Cumbria Magistrates Court on Tuesday February 9.
