POLICE are investigating a New Year’s Day break-in at Morecambe Golf Club’s changing rooms.
Thieves, who must have known the entry code, got in between 3pm and 6pm and took a set of golf clubs and some clothing.
PC Ian Nickson, investigating said, “There are a number of lines of enquiry ongoing at this stage but the changing rooms are controlled by a key code system and so we are investigating one possibility that the person responsible may have had legitimate access to the changing rooms themselves or may have been with someone who had.
“I would appeal to anyone who may have seen anything at all suspicious or to anyone who may have any other information they think may assist the investigation to come forward and contact us.”
