Tesco vouchers can be swapped in store

As the Tesco store in Morecambe’s Arndale Centre prepares to close on April 4, the Morrisons store on Central Drive will start accepting Tesco Clubcard vouchers for a short time.

Shoppers unable to get to an alternative Tesco store to redeem their vouchers will be offered the option of spending them at Morrisons instead.

Doug Lakeland, Morrisons store manager said: “A number of residents have told us that they would find it difficult to get to another Tesco store to redeem their vouchers so we came up with the idea of accepting them at our store so they wouldn’t lose out.” Customers will be able to redeem a maximum of £5 in Tesco Clubcard vouchers as part of a £40 minimum value shop at the store. Shoppers will need to present a Morrisons Match & More card.
