Melanie Shaw and Narelle Kilby, both from Morecambe, did a tandem parachute jump in aid of Lancaster and Morecambe’s Children’s Holiday of a Lifetime that sends terminally ill children and their families to Florida.

It’s a cause close to Narelle’s heart as she said: “It started last year when my sister Melanie and I did a reverse bungee. We then decided we would like to do a tandem parachute jump.

“As I have been on the holiday of a life time in 1992 with my boys Darren and Steven (Darren has cystic fibrosis), my sister and I wanted to be able to give back to this fantastic charity.”

The sisters raised £854.
