A former cabinet minister and Strictly Come Dancing star was guest of honour at a dinner in Morecambe.
Ann Widdecombe was welcomed to the Morecambe & Lunesdale Conservatives’ autumn dinner at the Headway Hotel.
She spoke on a number of topics including the EU Referendum, the Syrian refugee crisis, the NHS and her time on Strictly although sadly she didn’t give any ballroom demonstrations.
Ann also signed copies of her books.
“Ann was on sparkling form and the evening was very much enjoyed by all,” said Susan Sykes, association treasurer, who thanked the Headway staff.
