FLOPPY haired comic genius Michael McIntyre is coming back to Lancaster.

The star of Britain’s Got Talent, Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow and Live at the Apollo will play two gigs at the Grand Theatre on June 12 and 13.

Tickets are expected to sell like the proverbial hot much so that they are limited to two per person and can only be collected on the night by the person who booked them.

Since then the BAFTA and National TV Award-winning star’s profile has risen and he is now one of the top comics in the country and one of the most recognisable faces in showbiz.

He was also the youngest ever host of the Royal Variety Performance in 2010 and was a judge on Britain’s Got Talent last year, alongside Simon Cowell, David Hasselhoff and Amanda Holden.

His DVD Hello Wembley is the fastest-selling comedy DVD in UK chart history, selling over a million copies.

The gigs start at 8pm. Tickets cost £25 and are available from 01524 64695 or – but hurry!

Also just announced for the Grand Theatre is another return for cult comic hero and ex-Never Mind the Buzzcocks captain Bill Bailey, who will appear on Monday, May 14 at 8pm.

Tickets cost £17.50.
