Punks will take over the resort this weekend as the annual Nice N Sleazy Festival rolls into town.
The punk festival run by Ivan Harrison is in its 11th year and scooped its third Visitor Sunshine award, the Entertainment Award, earlier this month.
Hundreds of punk lovers are expected to gather at the Trimpell Sports and Social Club in Morecambe and around 70 bands will perform including punk legends Sham 69 and Peter and the Test Tube Babies from May 26-29.
There is a main indoor stage as well as a large marquee and lounge bar. The venue is surrounded by a sports field which means there is an opportunity for camping. Music begins at 6pm on Friday and the festival finishes on Sunday at around 1am. Tickets for adult weekend pass with free camping cost £56, a child (aged five to 13, under 5s go free) weekend pass with free camping £5, camper vans and caravan tickets £15, car parking is £5 and Thursday camping only is £6.
