Poulton-le-Sands Church of England Primary School are celebrating their recent Ofsted inspection, where they were officially recognised as a “Good” school again in all of the five areas inspected.
Vicky Bould, the headteacher, explained that children’s success and growth are at the heart of everything we do.
She said: “We know that the day in and day out successes and happiness of our children matter the most, and we’re pleased that Ofsted recognised our values and success.”
Ofsted also quoted some parents as saying, “This is a fantastic school: understanding and willing to go that extra mile,” as well as, “My child has developed a love of learning at this school.”
Other highlights from the report include:
Pupils achieve well and feel very safe around the school
Pupils’ positive attitudes and their good behaviour make a strong contribution to their learning.
Teachers support pupils well and guide and question them skilfully
The school provides an extensive rage of curriculum activities that are tailored well to match individual needs.
Deputy Head Darren Newiss said: “We are very pleased with the outcomes of the inspection, it shows how hard everyone from the children, to parents and staff have worked together to help develop our children’s futures.”
