Pothole causes chaos on M6
A POTHOLE brought traffic to a standstill on the M6 southbound this morning.
A Highways Agency spokesman confirmed that they were called out after a pothole appeared in the middle lane of the southbound carriageway of the M6 between junction 27 and 26, near to the Gathurst viaduct, just before 8.30am.
A temporary road block was put in place before cars were safely diverted around it.
It’s believed a number of cars were damaged as a result of the incident.
