Police: Man arrested after woman, 35, dies at Morecambe house

Police say they were called to a property in Grange Street at around 6.15pm on Thursday, June 28 following reports that a woman had been found unresponsive.

Emergency services attended and a 35-year-old woman was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

Her death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be passed to the coroner in due course.

A 40-year-old man from Morecambe was arrested on suspicion of supplying a controlled drug and is currently in custody.
