Police charge teen after cocaine and knuckle duster find

A teenager has been charged after with offences including intent to supply crack cocaine and handling stolen goods.

Josh Cumberbatch, 19, of Belvedere Place, Worsley Mesnes, was arrested on January 14 after police recovered a Volvo car which had been stolen by means of burglary three days earlier.

The driver was arrested, during which police also recovered a quantity of drugs and a knuckle duster.

The 19-year-old is charged with handling stolen goods, possession of crack cocaine with intent to supply, being concerned in the supply of heroin, possessing an offensive weapon and driving without a licence or insurance.

He will appear at Liverpool Crown Court on April 8 following a hearing at Wigan Magistrates on Friday.
