Police appeal following Morecambe robbery

DETECTIVES are appealing for information following a robbery in Morecambe.

The incident took place on Friday, September 9, at around 8pm on Clarendon Road.

Three men entered the victim’s home and assaulted him. They stole a laptop computer and a mobile telephone. The victim suffered cuts and bruises from the attack.

One of the men was described as between 20 and 30 years old with olive skin. He was tall and slim with dark receding hair. The second man was described as being around 50 years old and he had a white terrier with him. The third man was dressed in black and was wearing a straw trilby hat.

Detective Sergeant Mark Stephens from Lancaster CID said: “I would appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time and witnessed anything suspicious to come forward and contact us.

“This is an unprovoked attack on a man in his own home and the people responsible need to be caught and brought to justice.”
