Police returned two children safely home after finding them at Lancaster railway station without any tickets or money.

British Transport Police officers located the pair - aged 12 and 13 - on Tuesday and, concerned for their welfare, safeguarding checks were carried out and the youngsters were taken back to their homes in Carlisle.
