A stolen car which has been linked to numerous burglaries across the north west was stopped by police in Galgate.

Lancs Road Police stopped the Fiesta, which was stolen in Merseyside, on Sunday.

Two occupants were arrested after a foot chase and the car was recovered for forensics.
