Noah wanted to encourage people to donate to Smile Train after his school, Poulton-le-Sands CE Primary, named it as their charity.

July is also Cleft and Craniofacial Awareness Month.

Smile Train empowers local medical professionals with training, funding, and resources to provide free cleft surgery and comprehensive cleft care in their communities.

Noah said: “At the beginning of my school year my headteacher introduced Smile Train UK as our school charity.

"At the beginning of lockdown, I started thinking about ways to try and fundraise for Smile Train. Then I thought about creating a comedy show in the style of ‘Miranda’ and streaming it to my family and friends.

"I aimed to raise £30 and managed to raise £335 and this means nearly three children can have cleft surgery and that’s amazing.”

Noah’s proud mum Suzanne said: “Noah spent many hours filming at home to create his show and he did it all on his own without any help.

"Then one Sunday afternoon he invited our family and friends to come on Zoom and watch it. We are really proud of the effort he put into it and how much he managed to raise. It gave him a real sense of achievement during the difficult time of lockdown.”
