As we reported, Harry was 'Mr Hovercraft' at Morecambe RNLI and did a huge amount for the town, saving 77 lives during his 34 years of service.

Due to Covid restrictions his funeral will be for just 30 guests, but his family would like to invite anyone that wishes to show their respects to stand along the promenade at Morecambe.

Harry will take his final journey along the prom on Friday April 30 between 10.15am and 10.30am.

He will travel from Heysham, down Heysham Road and onto Marine Road. He will be saying his final goodbye to Morecambe Lifeboat Station at 10.25am.

His family has asked that everyone adhere to social distancing measures on the prom.
