Actress and TV presenter Caroline Quentin flies in to farm near Carnforth for filming

A special visitor flew in to an open farm near Carnforth on Wednesday to film for a TV show.

Greenlands Farm Village was the venue for actress and TV presenter Caroline Quentin, who landed by helicopter at the open farm and artisan village at Tewitfield.

After filming, Caroline and her crew enjoyed a spot of lunch at the farm cafe.

Greenlands shared photos of the visit on social media, saying: "Was anybody at Greenlands Farm today and spot the celebrity on site?

"We’ve had Caroline Quentin and her film crew in for lunch and refreshments today after a bit of filming in one of our fields."

Caroline is best known for her roles in 90s shows Men Behaving Badly and Jonathan Creek, as well as ITV police drama Blue Murder.

More recently she appeared on Strictly Come Dancing in 2020, and last year began filming for Sky science fiction drama The Lazarus Project.
