Pensioner treated for minor injury after Morecambe crash

A two-car crash in which an elderly man was slightly hurt closed a main road in Morecambe for over an hour.

The collision between a blue Rover and a black Audi happened on Westgate at around 1pm on Tuesday.

Police said one of the drivers, an elderly man, was treated for a minor injury.

The road was closed at the Shrimp roundabout while the vehicles were recovered. It reopened at 2.15pm.
