Patisserie chain to open at former Lancaster Ann Summers store

High-end brand Patisserie Valerie is to open its first store in Lancaster within the next month.

The popular continental café operates over 155 stores across the UK and will open its latest on 10/12 Market Street, where the former Ann Summers store was housed.

The opening will create new jobs and offer Patisserie Valerie’s famous range of cakes and hot drinks.

Patisserie Valerie first opened in 1926 in London by the Belgian, Madame Valerie.

Paul May, CEO of Patisserie Holdings PLC said: “The opening of our first store in Lancaster is a fantastic opportunity to extend our brand into a new area and reach out to new and existing customers.

“We’ve received numerous requests to open a store in Lancaster, so we very much hope that our customers enjoy the delicious treats that we have to offer!”

An opening date is yet to be set.
