The content editor of The Visitor will appear in a television documentary about professional wrestling this weekend.

Greg Lambert will star in a two-part look back at the history of pro wrestling in Great Britain, set to air on Challenge TV this Sunday (August 30) and Sunday, September 6.

The programme, ‘Two Falls to a Finish’, also features interviews with ring legends Hulk Hogan, Marty Jones, Danny Boy Collins, Robbie Brookside, and TV and radio personality Ted Robbins.

The documentary tells the story of how British wrestling became popular in the mid-1950s thanks to its weekly Saturday afternoon slot on ITV ‘World of Sport’.

‘Two Falls to a Finish’ also charts the glory days of the ring when Big Daddy and Giant Haystacks were household names and shows how the circuit fell into decline after ITV cancelled wrestling in 1988, right up to its revival in recent years.

Away from his job as a local journalist, Greg has been a regular on the UK wrestling circuit for the past 12 years as a performer, commentator and promoter.
