Oil spill causes traffic chaos in Morecambe
A broken down lorry caused traffic chaos after oil spilled across two lanes near the Shrimp roundabout in Morecambe.
Police were called at 12.10pm on Wednesday to reports of a broken down lorry on Lancaster Road.
The breakdown led to an oil spill across the road.
The fire service attended and police updated the highways team who were en route to deal with the oil spill.
The road was expected to reopen around 2.15pm on Wednesday.
