A NEIGHBOUR of Robert and Nicola Holden has spoken of his shock at the events on Low Lane.

The elderly man, 82, who wanted to be referred to as Harry, said he chatted with the couple regularly as they walked their dog past his house.

He said: “Everybody is shocked. They were such a lovely couple.

“They used to walk up and down the street with their labrador and we’d chat and have a laugh and a joke as they passed my house.

“I used to catch them in the Dog and Partridge pub too.

“She was a lovely girl, very attractive, and he was grand too.”
