The pictures taken by Robert Swain show the station grounds and the clock in the late 80s and 90s.

The historic snaps come after we revealed the saga between 71-year-old volunteer Jim Walker and the Carnforth Station Trust over an alleged racist incident.

The booking hall, railway tracks, the clock face and the Flying Scotsman all feature in the pictures.

More pictures to come next week.

Thank you to Robert Swain for the pictures and information.
