The Normans are coming to Happy Mount Park on Sunday July 1, 10.30am - 4pm.
The park will echo to the sounds of swords and shields, but don’t worry, they are quite friendly.
This is a chance for the whole family to see history as they’ve never seen it before.
The 12th century re-enactment society Historia Normannis will be bringing the world of 900 years ago back to life.
From dynamic and exciting combat, knights displaying their prowess in the tourney, displays of archery, woodwork and metal working, to the singing and music of the court of the time, Historia Normannis presents the workings of 12th century life.
The event will be located on the putting green in the park.
