Morecambe carer in court accused of ill-treating and neglecting woman
A carer accused of ill-treating and neglecting a woman in Morecambe who lacks mental capacity has made her first appearance at court.
Flora Rufus Mason, 54, of Albany Road, Morecambe, appeared at Preston Magistrates’ Court charged with ill treating and wilfully neglecting a person without mental capacity in Morecambe on March 13, 2023.
She did not enter a plea but elected for trial by jury.
She was remanded on conditional bail until the next hearing at Preston Crown Court on November 24.
