A Lancaster man is guilty of theft from two different shops.

David Spencer, 33, of Greenset Close, Lancaster stole alcohol worth £59.96 from Lidl and household items from Farmfoods of an unknown value.

Magistrates at Preston sentenced him to a 12 month conditional discharge and ordered him to pay £85 costs and a £26 victim surcharge.
