Crowds gather to pay their respects across Lancaster district on Remembrance Sunday

Hundreds of people turned out across the district to mark Remembrance Sunday.

Parades took place in Lancaster, Morecambe, Carnforth and further afield.

Numerous people watched on to pay their respects to those who died for their country in the two world wars and also those who served in more recent operations in Afghanistan, Bosnia and Iraq.
