The Leckey Mygo wheelchair, which is for children with moderate to complex special needs, was discovered by a passer-by on Saturday afternoon.

It had been dumped on Damside Street in Lancaster under the old railway bridge.

Police have been informed but had not received any reports of stolen wheelchairs.

The wheelchair is currently at the Wagon and Horses on St George’s Quay until the owner has been found.
