Tickets have sold out for a brave mum-of-three’s fundraising night for CancerCare.

Sarah Drake from Hest Bank organised the ‘Phoenix From The Flames’ spring ball after she survived breast cancer.

Sarah, who was diagnosed with cancer aged 34, wanted to give something back to the Lancaster charity after they helped herwith counselling.

She also helped to set up CancerCare’s very first online support group, Phoenix.

“During the time of my diagnosis and treatment, I felt pure fear and loneliness so being involved in the Phoenix group means that others don’t need to feel this way,” she said.

More than 230 people will attend the event at the Globe Arena on Friday night.
