Morecambe man who hid drugs in anus sent to prison

A man who hid drugs in his bottom on a canal tow path in Lancaster has been sentenced to six years and four months in prison.

Francis Hackett, 53, of Regent Park Avenue, Morecambe pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply Class A drugs at Preston Magistrates Court.

Francis Hackett, 53, of Regent Park Avenue, Morecambe pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply Class A drugs at Preston Magistrates Court.

Hackett was stopped on the canal tow path and arrested in July on suspicion of drug dealing and found to have a large quantity of heroin.
