Thieves stole Morecambe Carnival trophies and cups during a break-in at the town hall.
Carnival organisers have appealed for help after the cups were taken from Morecambe Town Hall during a burglary between 8.30pm on Thursday and 7am on Friday.
Several safes were targeted and police were trying to find out exactly what has been taken.

The town hall is expected to re-open on Monday when investigations have been completed.
A council spokesman said there will be temporary disruption to a number of services including environmental health and planning in addition to access to the building’s customer service centre.
