THE Lancaster Jazz Festival’s main stage event this month will be held at The Dukes.
Headlining the third new Lancaster Jazz Festival on Saturday, September 24 are the Maoz-Sirkis duet who experiment with the traditional concept of jazz by blending both composed and improvised music.
Guitarist Eyal Maoz has been described as one to watch while Asaf Sirkis has developed a reputation as one of the world’s premier jazz drummers. Supporting the Maoz-Sirkis duet will be the Lancaster-based Stephen Grew Quartet and local jazz musicians.
The event takes place in The Round at the Lancaster venue, providing an intimate space to experience the best new jazz around.
