An England football star visited Morecambe 24 hours after playing in the FA Cup Final and the day before joining the national squad ahead of the European Football Championships.
Teenage Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford was at the Morecambe Hotel on Sunday the day after helping his team win the cup.
Rashford, 18, went off injured during United’s 2-1 win over Crystal Palace at Wembley on Saturday.
He is part of the 26-man England squad who are preparing for friendly games ahead of the Euros in France next month.
Rashford burst onto the scene last season, scoring eight goals for United in 18 matches.
The hotel tweeted a photo of the striker posing with a member of staff.
A spokesman for the Lord Street venue confirmed Rashford was there on Sunday but declined to comment further.
