Manager Mclovin’ his degree
The manager at McDonald’s restaurant in Morecambe has gained a Foundation Degree with a Merit award in Managing Business Operations, a prestigious qualification open to only the best restaurant managers in the country.
McDonald’s has worked closely with Manchester Metropolitan University Business School to accredit its Management Development Programme, creating an intellectually rigorous, business-focused Foundation Degree which blends academic study with on-the-job learning.
Andrew Taylor, 27, said: “I’d like to thank McDonald’s for the investment it has made in my learning and for being so flexible when I was studying for the Foundation degree – McDonald’s has really helped me accomplish my goal of achieving a degree qualification.”
