Man stabbed in Sandylands

THREE people have been arrested after a man was stabbed in Heysham.

The 55-year-old victim suffered a laceration to the shoulder and numerous cuts and bruises, and needed six stitches in his back and four stitches in his head following the attack on Sandylands promenade.

He was kept in at the Royal Lancaster Infirmary for treatment after the incident at 11.15pm on Monday night.

but police said his condition was not life threatening.

A 17 year old boy from Lancaster has been arrested on suspicion of assault. A 18 year old woman and 19 year old woman, both from Lancaster, have been arrested on suspicion of wounding. All are currently in custody.
