Man rescued from sea in Morecambe
A man standing in the sea with a rucksack up to his chest in water had to be rescued by lifeboat crews.
Liverpool Coastguard received a call at 12pm on September 27 and local coastguard and lifeboat crews were sent to the scene.
The man was in the sea near the Breeze cafe at the Battery.
He appeared unresponsive and in a daze.
The man, 39, who weighed 20 stone, had a rucksack full of clothes.

Hide AdHe was not believed to be local, said Dave Wooder, duty manager at Liverpool Coastguard.
He was rescued by lifeboat crews and stretchered onto the nearby jetty, then taken to hospital by a waiting ambulance.
