Man rescued after leg trapped in tractor wheel in Cockerham

Firefighters freed a man after his leg got trapped in a tractor wheel.

The fire service and paramedics were called to Main Street in Cockerham just after 12pm on Tuesday.

The casualty in his sixties was trapped by his leg in the back wheel of a tractor.

With paramedics attending to the man during the rescue, firefighters released him and he was taken to the Royal Preston Hospital by air ambulance.
