Man injured in road crash in Heysham
A man was seriously injured after a two car smash on Middleton Road.
The 27-year-old driver of a Ford Fiesta had to be cut free from his car by firefighters after the crash with a VW camper van.
North West Ambulance Service said the man was taken to the Royal Preston Hospital with a suspected leg injury after the crash at 7.30pm on Wednesday.
There were no other injuries.
