The Folly contains the Museum of North Craven Life and collections of local importance relating to the social, agricultural and industrial history of the area. It also houses The Folly Coffee House.

It is now fully owned by the trust, which aims to open as much of it as possible to the public and this project marks a major step down that road.

The project will enable local people and visitors to learn about the rich and surprising history and heritage of The Folly, Settle and the surrounding area. There will be many exciting opportunities for people to get involved with the project as volunteers or supporters, in a variety of ways. There will be opportunities to develop new skills and learn more about the area.

It will also make use of the important local collections and archives owned by the Trust as well as those of other organisations and individuals.
