Link road closures for the coming week

Heysham-M6 link road developers Costain have released details of next week’s road closures and traffic management as work continues on the scheme.

Work continues on the Heysham to M6 link road.

In addition to the ongoing traffic layouts, the A6 between Slyne and Beaumont will have a 24-hour lane closure in place throughout the week, controlled by three-way traffic light signals, to allow for the reinstatement of the A6 carriageway replacing a temporary surface, from Hest Bank Lane south towards the new bridge.

The road will also have a 24-hour lane closure and two-way traffic light signals for drainage works south of the bridge structure near the speed camera from Monday to Friday.

Halton Road will have a 24-hour lane closure controlled by two-way traffic light signals for bridge works from Sunday to Friday.

There will be a full closure of Torrisholme Road from Russell Drive to Endsleigh Grove for bridge works on Saturday October 3 from 6am until 8pm.
