Lancaster's Hacienda Classical attracts thousands

Music was in the air at Williamson Park as renowned DJs fused with the classics for one unique show.

The foot of the Ashton Memorial became a dance floor for one night, with lasers of all colours shooting off into the distance and the sound of the 80s and 90s filled the air.

DJs Mike Pickering and Graeme Park came together with the Manchester Camerata to present classic house anthems to an audience of around 3,000.

The sunshine helped the festival atmosphere as many enjoyed stunning views across Morecambe Bay.

Despite the very large queues at the bar and toilets dance lovers still managed to catch the finale song of ‘You’ve got the love.’
